Aquaforest vitality

AF Vitality is a concentrated vitamin supplement for corals. Running ozonisers, activated carbon and strong skimming can sterilise aquarium water and leave it short on vitamins, and this formula puts back the vitamins that filtration strips out of a closed system. The blend is built around the B vitamins and contains A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D3, E and K3.

Regular dosing gives corals continuous access to the vitamins that support condition, healthy growth and immunity, with more intensity in colouration. It suits reef keepers running SPS, LPS and soft corals, particularly on systems with heavy filtration where vitamin levels are likely to be depleted.

Dosage is 1 drop per 100 litres (27 US gal) of water every other day after lights out. Shake before use. Do not dilute, and do not mix with other products in one container. It can be run through a dosing pump provided the pump dispenses in drops. Each tank is different and dosage may vary with the coral mix, so start at half or even a quarter of the dose, watch how the corals respond, then build up to the target dose. Dispense directly into the aquarium and switch the skimmer off for about an hour during feeding. SPS and LPS are best fed after lights out, while Zoanthus, Ricordea and other mushroom corals are best fed during the day.

Once opened, store in the fridge if the temperature exceeds 24°C (75°F); otherwise keep in a cool, dark place. Sediment formation is natural and does not affect the quality of the product. Do not overtighten the screw cap or the cover may be damaged. For aquarium use only, not for human consumption, and keep out of reach of children. Available in 10 mL and 50 mL.
