Dymax Bio Sphere is a highly porous biological filter media for freshwater, marine and reef aquariums. Its large internal surface gives beneficial bacteria plenty of room to settle, so it removes ammonia and nitrite through nitrification and helps reduce nitrate through denitrification.
Use about 1 litre of Bio Sphere for every 250 litres of aquarium water, so 10 litres suits systems of up to about 2,500 litres, or several smaller tanks. It works in canister filters and sumps. Rinse before use.
