Neptune liquid level sensor

The Neptune Systems Liquid Level Sensor (LLS) is a single vertical probe that reads the actual depth of liquid along its whole length. A float switch or optical sensor only reports whether water is present at one fixed height. This sensor instead gives a continuous reading in both inches and centimetres, so you can follow gradual changes rather than just a wet or dry signal.

It uses patented resistive sensing to measure the level wherever the liquid contacts the sensor. Readings appear in the Apex Fusion app as digital figures and animated visuals. The data is logged over time, so you can graph trends and work out how quickly water or additives are being used. You can also set your Apex to send alerts or take action when the level shifts by an amount you choose.

The sensor suits reefkeepers who want to track evaporation, consumption and dosing. It works in:

- sumps

- ATO reservoirs

- all-in-one tank chambers

- dosing containers

- mixing stations

- saltwater storage

A mounting clip is included for attaching it to the side of the container.

It works with any A2 Apex fitted with an FMM, and with any A3 Apex through its built-in FMM ports or a separate FMM. It is not compatible with A1 Apex (Apex Classic) models. The sensor comes in four lengths: 4", 15", 23" and 35".
