The replacement quartz sleeve for the Deltec 39 watt and 80 watt UV sterilisers (types 391 and 801); the one sleeve suits both.
The sleeve is the clear quartz tube the UV bulb sits in. It keeps the bulb dry while letting the ultraviolet light through to the water. A sleeve that has become scaled, cloudy, scratched or cracked lets less UV through, so replace it when cleaning no longer brings it back to clear, or if it is chipped or cracked.
Switch the steriliser off and unplug it before opening it.
