These are replacement reagents for the Hanna Marine Alkalinity Checker HC, covering both the ppm version (HI755) and the dKH version (HI772). Each pack contains 25 pre-measured reagent packets, so there's no mixing or measuring involved when you test your tank water.
To use one, you add a packet to your water sample and the reaction produces a colour that shifts from yellow through green to blue. Your Checker reads that colour and works out the alkalinity for you. The HI755 displays results in ppm of CaCO3, while the HI772 shows them in dKH. The reagents are made with high purity chemicals, and every packet is marked with its lot number and expiry date so you can trace and track what you're using.
This pack suits reef keepers who already own one of these Checkers and want to keep up regular alkalinity testing. It's designed for samples with an expected range of 0 to 300 ppm CaCO3, or 0.0 to 20.0 dKH.
