This is a 55 watt germicidal UV quartz replacement bulb made for Lifegard Pro-MAX UV sterilisers. It's the part that does the work inside the unit, so swapping it in keeps your steriliser running as intended.
As water passes through the steriliser, the UV light acts on free-floating algae, bacteria and other microorganisms. That helps keep tank and pond water clear and healthy. The quartz construction is made for lasting UV performance, and the bulb is straightforward to remove and refit when it's time for a change.
It suits owners of the Lifegard Pro-MAX High Output Amalgam UV sterilisers rated at 55 watts, in either the 3 inch or the 5 inch housing. Check that your unit matches before ordering.
Specs: 55W, germicidal UV quartz bulb. Compatible with Lifegard Pro-MAX 3" and 5" UV sterilisers. Before fitting, wipe any fingerprints or grease off both the quartz sleeve and the bulb itself.
