PHAT Fundamental

Complete Nutrition for Everyday Planted Aquariums

Healthy aquatic plants require more than light and carbon alone. As plants grow, essential nutrients are continuously removed from the water column and incorporated into new tissue. Over time, these nutrients must be replenished to support continued growth, healthy colouration and long-term plant health.

Whether maintaining a planted community aquarium, a low-tech aquascape or a moderately planted display tank, PHAT Fundamental provides the nutrients required to support healthy and consistent plant growth without the complexity often associated with advanced fertilisation regimes.

Balanced Nutrition for Sustainable Growth

Plant growth is governed by the availability of light, carbon and nutrients. When one of these factors becomes limiting, growth efficiency declines and plants may begin to exhibit signs of nutrient deficiency.

PHAT Fundamental delivers essential nutrients in a balanced formulation designed to support steady growth across a broad range of aquatic plant species. By maintaining nutrient availability within the water column, plants are better able to produce healthy foliage, develop stronger root systems and recover from routine pruning and maintenance.

Rather than targeting maximum growth rates, the formulation focuses on maintaining consistent nutrient availability that supports long-term aquarium stability.

Suitable for a Wide Range of Aquariums

Not every planted aquarium requires the intensive fertilisation approach used in competition aquascapes. Many planted aquariums achieve excellent results through a balanced fertilisation strategy combined with appropriate lighting, regular maintenance and stable water parameters.

PHAT Fundamental was developed specifically for these systems, providing comprehensive nutrition without the need for multiple products or complex dosing schedules.

The formulation is suitable for community aquariums, planted nano tanks, beginner aquascapes and established planted systems seeking a reliable all-in-one fertiliser.

A Foundation for Healthy Plant Growth

Consistent fertilisation allows aquatic plants to maintain active growth and avoid the cyclical nutrient shortages that commonly occur in planted aquariums.

By supplying the nutrients plants consume on a daily basis, PHAT Fundamental helps support stronger growth, improved colouration and healthier overall plant development while contributing to a more balanced aquarium ecosystem.
