Red Sea Reef Foundation B is the alkalinity part of Red Sea’s three-part Foundation program, a carbonate and buffer complex that keeps KH steady so corals can build skeleton and the pH stays where it should. Corals draw down alkalinity every day; dosing Foundation B replaces what they use without the swings that come from ad-hoc buffers.
- Liquid form in 500 ml, 1 L and 5 L, dosed by hand or through a dosing pump
- Formulated to work alongside Foundation A (calcium and strontium) and Foundation C (magnesium) in the same ratios corals consume them
- Red Sea’s dosing chart on the label gives the amount per 100 L for each 0.1 dKH you want to raise
- Test KH with a Red Sea Foundation Pro or KH test kit and dose to hold your target range
A stable KH is the single biggest factor in coral growth and colour. If you are dosing more than the label suggests each day, test calcium and magnesium as well, because the three move together.

Livestock shipping
We service all of Australia however, some areas are not available for overnight shipping. Visit www.startrack.com.au and "Calculate Transit Time" to check if you are. Pick service option as "Fixed Price Premium". If your arrival date is 1 day after departure, then you can receive overnight. If not, then unfortunately you are not serviceable.
