Triton ICP-OES Test Kit (single test)

Send a sample of your tank water to the Triton laboratory and get back a full ICP-OES analysis: the major elements, the trace elements and any contaminants, measured down to levels a hobby test kit cannot see.

The kit has everything needed to take the sample. Register the kit's unique code on Triton's site, follow the instructions to fill the sample tubes, and post it to the lab. Results appear on your Triton dashboard about one to two working days after the lab receives the sample, with a plain-language diagnosis of anything out of range and clear steps to correct it.

Elements covered include salinity, chloride, sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium, strontium, boron, bromine, sulphur, fluoride, iodine, iron, manganese, zinc, nickel, cobalt, copper, phosphorus, lithium, molybdenum, vanadium and silicon, plus the common pollutants such as aluminium, lead, tin and mercury.

Worth doing every couple of months on a mature reef, when corals lose colour or growth for no obvious reason, or after a change of salt or supplements.
